January at the French Needle
Happy New Year to all, I hope everyone enjoyed safe and relaxing holidays!
I am excited to bring some new products to you which I had hoped to have ready before Christmas, but better late than never…
Coup de coeur is one of those very hard- to- translate phrases, but everyone knows the feeling. When you are just struck with the beauty and poetry of someone or something that is a coup de coeur!
So now a little corner of my “shop” is dedicated to wonderful little handmade items that struck me. And of course they are all related to textiles!
One can never have too many little pretties for the sewing basket; please look at the selection of pincushions, fobs and sewing pouches! The jewelry pouches are also quite elegant even if you decide not to stitch on them. This is going to be a very active section of the “shop”.
As soon as I catch my breath I will be refilling the “sale” section.
Also, all you who subscribed to the magazine “de fil en aiguille” or ordered the first copy only will receive them this week if you have not already. My very favorite feature in this issue is the elegant lace alphabet. I can’t believe how gorgeous that is.
Well the days are getting longer, there is a chance of the occasional “snow in”, major stitching seems in the picture. Happy January to all and as ever I look forward to hearing from you.
